I’ll Bet You Won’t Print This

The fee-shifting imposed by the Enron court – related to claims brought against Alliance Capital – continues to make news. At the time of the decision, the Wall Street Journal (subscrip. req’d) published an editorial lauding the result. In today’s edition, the plaintiff’s attorney fights back with a letter that he challenges the paper to print (a bet he happily loses), while the newspaper’s editorial board defends its analysis.
